Youth Basketball Flyer

Coach Nate Bourquein – Bio

I’ve been an athlete my entire life, playing baseball, basketball, wrestling, and football for over 20 years, including at the collegiate level. My coaching journey began in 2003 with Harrison Youth Football, working with 6-year-olds. From 2004–2007, I served as the Varsity Offensive Line Coach at Mount Healthy High School, helping lead the program to its first-ever playoff appearances—back-to-back seasons.

In 2018, I began coaching basketball with the Lawrenceburg Community Recreation League, where I’ve spent the past six years coaching girls basketball, following my daughter’s teams through each grade level up to 7th grade. During that time, I’ve coached multiple teams in Fall League and Summer League competition, including guiding a team to a 1st-place finish at the Oak Hills Summer League. Over the past three seasons, my teams have also maintained undefeated school records while competing with two squads simultaneously.

Driven by a passion for growing girls’ sports in Southeast Indiana, I’m working toward building a local AAU girls basketball program to help our young athletes compete at higher levels.

In addition to basketball, I’ve served the past two years as the Head Coach for Lawrenceburg’s 1st Grade Youth Football Team. I hold certifications in USA Football, First Aid, and CPR, ensuring a safe, positive, and developmental environment for all athletes I coach.
